From Sundrenched to Soul-Soaked

The unexpected embrace of rain

Rain has fallen helter-skelter, and 3/4th of me is wet now,
looking up towards the rain gods, I wonder,
why did they choose me to fall on,
at this particular point in time,
when it was all sunny and happy a moment back,
then this sudden advent of dark grey clouds,
gurgling and croaking like a frog who has a cough,
and down…
