It has to be Mangoes for me as well. This year the quality and sweetness has been pretty good, we got some excellent mangoes from a nearby farm :) I guess outside India you do get good Alphonsos/Hapus that they send from Ratnagiri..but yes as you said, the earthiness goes missing!
