The Two Kids

look sister look,
his susurrous tone,
the little girl looked,
sumptuous delicacies,
displayed in layers, and colors,
amber, red and what not,
the hue of their eyes,
kept reflecting the same.

those two kids,
seem hungry,
her lilting voice says.
she rose up,
her lithe body,
finding its way,
a panacea for their hunger.

the two kids,
happily munching,
her lissome body,
shadowing them,
i wondered,
who would probably be,
the nemesis for,
their condition.

Thanks to Xavier Van Holde’s beautiful idea to include a series of words(Sumptuous, Susurrous,Panacea,Nemesis, Lissome,Lithe,Lilt,Amber,Eyes,Hues) in a poem.

A heart that finds solace in mountains, the whispers of old buildings, silences, books, poetry and football.
